CP-257 is a new style of organoclay rheological additive made from bentonit. It is used in solvent and resin systems covering low polarity to hgh polarity range.

Application

1. Paints including top grades paint, decorative paint, industrial paint.

2. Grease, especially recommended in greases based on synthetic oils such as vegetable oil and polyester     oil etc.

3. Inks.

4. Cosmetics.

5. Sealants and adhesive.

Using

It can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. Addition level is commonly 0.1%~1.0% (7%-10% in greases) of total formulation by weight. in low and medium solvents, Polar activator is required to achieve better performance.
